RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC CAPTURES HISTORIC CHAMPIONSHIP.

The General Assembly Chorus, with 40 men on the risers under the direction of Bill Rashleigh, is the first ever Carolinas District Chorus Champion and will represent the distirct at the International Chorus Contest next July in Kansas City.

CENTRAL CAROLINA, NC Heart of Carolina Chorus with 23 men on the risers finishes second overall and wins the District Plateau AA (20-35 men) trophy.

CHARLOTTE, NC Gold Standard Chorus takes third overall with 26 singers.

HICKORY, NC Carolina Moonlighters (13 men) is the District  Plateau A (under 20 men) winner.
