DESCRIPTION:Heart of Carolina A cappella is the 2020 Carolina District International Chorus representative and is hosting Spring Sing 2020 to raise funds for the trip.\n\n\nThey’ve planned a full day of fun\, singing and fellowship for Barbershop choruses in the Carolina’s District. Spring Sing 2020 will be held at the Brumley Performing Arts Building at Durham Academy on Saturday\, April 25. Come sing tags with your fellow Barbershoppers and join the MegaSing of the Barbershop classic ‘Blue Skies’\, with coaching by Dr. Bill Adams. The day also includes a silent auction and opportunities to enjoy a round on the links at Durham’s Hillandale Golf Course and a guided private tour of the Duke Lemur Center.\n\n\nYOU CAN DO IT.   HCA is asking you to participate to make Spring Sing 2020 a success. Bring your chorus and quartets and be part of the Barbershop talent from across the District. DESCRIPTION:Set your calendars and join us for this year’s Triangle Harmony eXplosion … Saturday\, March 14 is the GO! date.\n\nTriangle Harmony eXplosion\, or THX for those in the know\, is RTP’s annual young adult barbershop music camp\, a full day of musical fun and excitement for middle and high school students from throughout Wake County.  Set your calendars because you don’t want to miss the highlight of THX.  After a full day of breakout sessions in vocal technique\, performance skills\, and barbershop harmony demos THX will culminate in a late afternoon concert featuring not only our attending students\, but also headlining will be the quartet “Forecast” and the “Brunswick Bellas”\, South Brunswick High School’s a cappella ladies extraordinaire.\n\nWe are extremely excited that Dr. Kenneth Tice will be spearheading this year’s THX.  Dr. Tice is the current Director of the RTP Chapter and Oak City Sound. He has almost twenty years of choral conducting and music education experience and brings a uniquely enjoyable approach and personality to his conducting.  Joining us this year and serving as our Teaching Quartet is Carolinas District’s own “Forecast“.  Travis Murray\, Tyler Rackley\, Kevin Jones\, and Mike Fitch join together to form this award winning quartet.  Forecast is 2019’s 1st Place Champion of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Harmony Sweepstakes and 2nd Place Finalist in the National Harmony Sweepstakes competition.  Also bringing us their wonderful barbershop and pop a cappella sound\, the “Brunswick Bellas”. You may remember their debut at the 2019 Fall Festival in North Charleston\, SC.\n\nTHX will feature a full day of professional voice and performance coaching for our attending students\, and will include barbershop harmony demonstrations from some of the best talent in the Carolinas. THX thanks the Carolinas District for their generous grant\, the RTP Chapter and the Central Carolina Chapter for their support enabling this Youth and Outreach effort to take place\n\n\n\nSo here is your recap:\n\n\n\nWhat?
