That’s Lakeside Harmony Camp.
This is our first opportunity to get together as a District since coming out the other side of the Covid pandemic. Just as many of your chapters have begun meeting with a ‘soft start’ of just getting to know each other again, this cookout is a relaxed event where friends and families can reacquaint and share in the joy of singing together again.

CAROLINAS BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Your Carolinas leadership will begin the day with a teambuilding exercise, then will convene an Open Meeting from 10am to 11:30am at the campfire circle in the campground.
REGISTRATION 11:30 AM – NOON
Park your car and head to the registration table to pick up your name badge. From there walk the accessible path to our meeting area at the Sassafras Shelter.
COOKOUT BUFFET 1:30-2:30 PM
Enjoy a cookout with your barbershop friends and family. Choose your entrée in advance to include hamburgers, hotdogs or a vegetarian dish, complete with slaw, potato salad, watermelon and tea. Preorder your meal with your registration. ONLY $10. Last call – August 14, 2021.
If you prefer, you may bring your own picnic. But don’t make it too good; your tablemates might want you to share!
BEST AMERICAN PIE CONTEST 2:00 – 3:00 PM
Looking for an opportunity to show off your culinary skills? Amaze and delight your friends with your pie entry. Entry is free, just sign up during preregistration. If you win, you’ll not only get bragging rights, you’ll get a FREE REGISTRATION to Fall Festival 2021.
GROUP SING 3:00-3:30 PM
Your registration gets you a copy of “Blue Velvet”. You will receive a link to download your part so you will be prepared when we all get together to sing.
QUADROPHONIC 3:30-4:00 PM
Carolinas Mixed Quartet champions QUADROPHONIC will entertain us selections from their show and contest sets. Take advantage of the Q&A afterwards to learn how the champs do it.
