Upstate SC Youth Are “Outstanding”
The Wade Hampton Singers (high school) of Greenville, SC qualified for, and traveled to, the recent BHS Midwinter Convention NextGen Music Festival in Jacksonville, FL. There, they performed a 3-song Beatles set and were judged “Outstanding” by the judges’ panel. Those in attendance will agree that they did an outstanding job. Wordplay Wins District Quartet Championship, Quadrophonic Wins Mixed Quartet Championship, Carolina Statesmen Qualify for 2020 Midwinter
Wordplay (Matt Gorman, Jay Lusk, Ryan Wilson, Scot Gregg) won the Carolinas District quartet championship Saturday, November 9th in Charleston. They earned an average score of 76.6. Liftoff finished second and Anecdote came in third.
