Effective with its Board meeting in March, 2013, the Society will allow any District to select both its chorus and quartet representatives to the International Contests at the same convention.  (Heretofore, choruses and seniors quartets qualified in the fall, and regular quartets and collegiate quartets were qualified at a separate contest in the spring.)

The Barbershop Harmony Society is celebrating its 75th Anniversary in high style! Its current champ Ringmasters will appear on NBC's THE TODAY SHOW on Thursday morning, April 11, 2013.

Then, that evening, the quartet will headline a free concert webcast LIVE from New York City.

Congratulations to 1/2 Ton Pickup for earning the privilege to represent the Carolinas District in Toronto!  Congrats also to The Skinny, who will be representing us in the Collegiate Quartet contest, and to Harmony Grits, who will present the District in the International Senior quartet contest in Long Beach in January 2014.
