The Asheville Chapter’s Land of the Sky Chorus, has now had three drive-in rehearsals under their name of CARbershop. Every member can hear the chorus sound through their FM headsets (new), their car radio (not perfect) or through the speakers sharing the sound with the area, including some neighbors! Carolinas District 10th Anniversary Virtual Chorus Project Announced
As part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations, we are putting together another virtual chorus project, this one around the song “When You Believe,” arranged by Gary Lewis for the AIC in 2014. The song will feature members from around the district as part of the virtual chorus (EVERYONE is invited to participate — all genders, all voice parts, all chapters), as well as honoring as many of our past champion quartets as possible. COVID-19 Guidelines
The Carolinas District Board of Directors adopts the COVID-19 INTERIM GUIDANCE FOR BHS ENSEMBLES AND SINGING COMMUNITIES. In a vote at its rescheduled Zoom Meeting of June 28, 2020, the Carolinas District voted unanimously to adopt the BHS issued Interim Covid-19 guidance as guidelines for quartets, ensembles and choruses in the Carolinas District.
