Collegiate Quartet Contests were renamed the Youth Quartet Contests effective in 2016. Thru 2016 The Youth Quartet Contest held during the District Spring Convention also determined which quartets will represent the Carolinas District at the International Youth Quartet Contest held at the International Convention the following July. Starting in 2016 Youth Quartets are selected for the International Youth Contest by submitting a video tape for evaluation. We consider all of these quartets “champions.
